A Kiss From Your Lips was inspired while listening to The Flamingos song of the same name. The song is the soundscape to the film, evoking a dreamlike atmosphere for the story of one young woman searching for her perfect dance partner.
The short film became an internet hit on its Valentine’s Day release gaining over half a million views and thousands of positive comments on YouTube. It won 3 festival awards, and caught the eye of Transparent showrunner Joey Soloway, who expressed their appreciation for the film. The film continues to charm online viewers.
